About our Founder,
Séréna
Hi, I’m Séréna - pole artist, performer,
and founder of La Chrome Barre.
Born and raised in Tokyo, I trained in ballet and gymnastics; disciplines rooted in precision and control.
At 14, I started heels dancing, and when I later moved to Montréal, I discovered something even more transformative: pole dancing.
It wasn’t just movement - it was liberation.
Over the past years, I’ve taught across Canada, performed internationally, and earned recognition in competitions, including:
Winner- Pole Sports Org Champ ‘21
Winner- Pole Masters Champ ‘24
1st Runner Up - Pole Sports Org Heels ‘25
Through this journey, one need beame clear: Artists thrive when given space that feels private, focused, and free from distraction.
La Chrome Barre was founded with that vision.
